Experience has also shown that it is rare for a loco to only need a Routine Service with the majority requiring some form of additional work/parts for them to be restored to full working order.

Should a member require it we will undertake a repair independent of a service with no guarantee that the repair will restore the loco to full working order.

Members should bear the above points in mind before deciding to use this scheme.

As identified in the Terms and Conditions due to the unavailability of some spare parts the club cannot always guarantee a full repair and any issues will be referred to the customer for a final decision. If (despite our best efforts) we are not able to complete the repair all original parts will be re-fitted and the loco restored to it 'as received' condition.

On the very rare occasions that this might occur subject to payment of the admin fee the loco will be returned to the customer.
